Question:
What are some distinctions you offer over other trainers or seminar companies?
Answer:
Chuck is a nationally acclaimed and highly respected speaker with a documented track record of success, focusing on four main arenas (sales, leadership, consulting & coaching), he has his pulse on the sales industry and has hundreds of weekly “sales” experiences, all of his programs feature on-going accountability and all seminar participants have access to a special “members only” resource area specially created in Chuck’s website.
Question:
How can we know you’re the seminar company for us?
Answer:
In several ways. First, examine Chuck’s business background and experience. Review the topics and the summaries of his most popular programs. Take note of the breadth of clients for whom he has spoken for, read their testimonials.
Second, some of you may have an opportunity to see Chuck train in person rather than making a critical decision from a 10 minute demo video or CD. But before you make any decisions, take the time to talk with him. Tell Chuck about your group, the event you’re planning and exactly what you want to accomplish and let us suggest a program that will really hit the mark. And if you’re still not convinced, we’ll be happy to direct you to any of Chuck’s personal clients.
Question:
Are you more comfortable speaking to managers, employee, leaders or Executives?
Answer:
Chuck loves speaking to a cross mix of your staff, right from the entry level employee to the CEO of the company, especially in the pilot program. He has a proven success record speaking to all types of audiences with all types of staff. Many clients have remarked about each training being dynamic and provocative, regardless of the makeup of the attendees. Chuck has the platform experience to connect with each person in the audience.
Question:
Can we count Chuck to be a hit?
Answer:
That’s an unequivocal YES! Chuck has been speaking professionally for more than sixteen years and he knows what works and what doesn’t. He arrives early and calm, to test the house A/V equipment, he walks the room and makes the myriad of tiny invisible adjustments that help your program come off without a hitch. And finally, Chuck prepares. He does his homework. He works very hard getting to know you and your group so he can tailor the presentation and make sure it fits. Our purpose is simple: to make the meeting planner, marketing manager or Human Resource Director a hero for choosing Chuck Bauer.
Question:
Does Chuck give “fresh” seminars or speeches?
Answer:
Yes! Being a student of personal development, Chuck strives to be on the cutting edge of information, techniques and technology that will have an impact on your company. He is always on the look-out for fresh ideas and approaches to implemented into each of his seminars. Even though he has base seminars to choose from, he customizes each one to fit the audience, the occasion or venue so everyone will know he is speaking specifically to them.
Question:
Does Chuck provide handouts?
Answer:
Yes, in two forms: First, Chuck provides Workbooks in which he gives out during the seminar. He brings enough for everyone and the cost of these Workbooks is covered by the client as a normal expense. Second, Chuck provides an online master (at no cost) of any handouts & assessments, which are to be completed during the seminars, again (copies) provided by the client.
Question:
How will Chuck make our lives easier?
Answer:
We’ve included in this Website biographical information and versions of Chuck’s personal introductions along with room set up information. You will also find a couple of publicity photos as well as promotional copy for use in any printed program, newsletters and meeting announcements.
Question:
What will you need from us?
Answer:
We’ll need a completed Seminar Questionnaire in which you tell us about the event, the time and place, your theme, your organization and the people who will be attending the seminar and what particular messages you would like for us to deliver. A Seminar Questionnaire, Seminar Agreement and Keynote Agreement are all included on this Website, under meeting planners tools and forms. They can be completed and e-mailed or faxed back to Chuck’s office.
Question:
Does Chuck fly first class?
Answer:
Absolutely not – he fly’s coach! Chuck is very aware of budget restrictions and the fact that he’s part of YOUR team. He is here to contribute and being part of that means being cognizant of your companies budget and revenue. Sometimes, due to his high frequent flier mileage, he is able to upgrade to first class, yet many times he will trade his first class seat with a senior citizen that is sitting in coach.
Question:
What about fancy hotels?
Answer:
Pretty much the same answer as airline seats, Chuck is very frugal with your budget and nice clean hotels certainly serve the purpose.
Question:
What audio/visual equipment will he need?
Answer:
Chuck prefers a cordless lapel microphone for keynotes and seminars. He uses his own laptop and his own LCD Projector for all seminars and keynotes. If you provide your own LCD Projector, Chuck always brings his as a back-up.
Question:
Has Chuck written anything?
Answer:
Yes. Chuck has written many sales and personal development articles and assessments that have been published in many internet websites and magazines, including Sales and Marketing Excellence Magazine and N.S.A.’s (National Speakers Association) – Oct 04 issue of Professional Speaker magazine.
Question:
Does Chuck sell product from the platform?
Answer:
Never! Chuck thinks that is very tacky. When he is asked to provide books and cd’s for purchase by folks in our audience after he speaks, he’d like to have a small table set up somewhere in the back of the room. Then, rather than pitch his products from the platform, he simply includes a single line in his printed introduction referencing the fact that he has a book available, which goes like this: “We’ve asked Chuck to bring a few copies of his book and personalize them for any who might care to purchase one, and he’ll be doing that in the back of the room after he speaks.”
Question:
What is the cost for the seminars?
Answer:
Chuck has a fee schedule that he supplies each client. The schedule is broke down into half and full day sessions along with keynotes. Just send Chuck a request and he’ll e-mail you his fee schedule or you can locate it within the meeting planners section on the website.
Question:
How long are the seminars?
Answer:
The typical seminar that Chuck provides will run four hours (half day) or eight hours (full day) depending which topic is being chosen. These times includes breaks, assessments, fun exercises and a training evaluation form filled out by each attendee.
Question:
What if we would like to schedule a keynote speech and a seminar?
Answer:
Perfect. Chuck’s fee schedule certainly permits for this as many of his clients will book a keynote along with a three hour break out or seminar session.
Question:
I have read the information on the “SalesMastery” training and would like to book it. Are there any particulars that we need to know in advance?
Answer:
Yes. As we move close to the date of the training, you will use our “Planners Resource” area on this website to gain access to tools and information that will create an exceptional experience and make your job easier. Chuck asks for a half and half mix of the executive staff and half from sales, etc. The mix will show you how well the seminar will proceed with all levels of staff. Outside of that, we ask that your company give Chuck a decision immediately following the seminar as to if you are booking or not.
Question:
With previous seminars, our group has been highly motivated yet after a few days they have forgotten what was taught. Does Chuck have any special programs in place to counteract this phenomenon?
Answer:
Yes and what a good question that is. We have all been to seminars where letdown is apparent immediately following the conclusion. Many attendees might go right back to the same old routine. Chuck has a fail safe method of operation that he follows in order to help all of our his clients avoid the “after-training-meltdown.”
1. Personal & Professional Development Is Taught At Each Seminar
With years of high level experience in this industry, Chuck comes from a belief that states “If you do not mix personal and professional development in most seminars or trainings, all will be lost in 72 hours.” Experience has shown that when Chuck works from both sides of development with his audience, retention and accountability increases and well as revenue production.
2. Accountability Program
A specific “method of operation” with “action and accountability steps” are implemented at each seminar. These carry specific responsibilities and time frames to the team or division leaders and department heads.
3. Website Discussion Board
Chuck provides each client or company free usage of his website discussion board to communicate directly to Chuck and his team of professional moderators. Each ongoing conversation between your staff and the moderators is open for viewing by all so each person gets the benefit of on-going coaching and interaction. One conversation will benefit many. Think of this as your very own archived “library” of information that will help your staff or team!
Typical topics for the MPG/Chuck Bauer discussion board:
Attraction Mastery Graphic Design Business Consulting
Leadership Communications Personal Coaching
Customer Service Sales Fearless Living
Websites General Topics Health and Fitness
4. Optional 30 Day/55 Minute Check Up Tele-Training
TeleTraining is the virtual classroom of the new millennium. Thanks to advanced telecommunications equipment, seminar graduates dial in from the convenience and safety of their own home or office 30 days after the conclusion of their seminar. Chuck will then spend 55 minutes via our Tele-Training phone line to engage in high-level discussions with your team or staff. Larger companies can utilize these calls by divisions or departments so everyone can get the benefit of our 30/55 Check Up Call! Note: there is an additional fee for this service – please view the fee schedule under Meeting Planners.
Question:
In order to keep our people tuned in after the training, you offer teleclasses along with ongoing access to your website. What if we need more assistance with our executives and employees?
Answer:
Chuck is happy to provide selected clients or companies with their own custom-designed business development package. The business development package is based on empowerment and up leveling all skills, including professional and personal development.
